Bakery ovens operating on liquid and gaseous fuels have pipes for discharging the products of combustion. The temperature of the fuel combustion products that are discharged may exceed 300 degrees Celsius. There are various designs of heat recovery units. In some cases, the heat recovery unit serves to heat the air, which can be used for drying magazines in the proofer or for heating industrial premises. In other cases, the heat recovery unit is used to heat water, which can be used for technological purposes.

The heat recovery unit of exit gases is rather effective. It has been developed by the specialists of OJSC “Ukrniiprodmash” and is produced by PSC “Kalinovskiy machine building plant”. The heat recovery unit is a welded construction consisting of housing, on the ends of which are welded flanges intended for connection to a flue stack of the oven. Pipes in which water moves are installed in rows inside the heat recovery unit housing. The movement of water in the heating system of the heat recovery unit is organized without dead zones that significantly increases the reliability and durability of the unit. The products of fuel combustion (flue gases) move inside the housing and, while washing the transversely installed water pipes, these gases give their heat. Cooled flue gases are emitted into the atmosphere, and the heated water is sent to power the steam generator or process needs.

Heat recovery units for heating water.

Heat recovery units are designed for lowering the temperature of exit flue gases of the oven and for heating water. The flue gases give their heat while moving inside the housing and washing the water pipes. Cooled flue gases are emitted into the atmosphere, and the heated water is sent to power the steam generator or process needs.

Heat recovery units for heating air.

Heat recovery unit “air-to-air” is designed for heating air by exit flue gas temperature. Heated air is used for heating of industrial buildings, supply in the proofer for drying the magazines and heating of the drying chambers.
