The line is designed for dosing and packaging of fine powder product (whey powder, milk powder (whole, skim), buttermilk powder, etc.) into consumer packaging in semi-automatic mode with capacity 2000 kg/hour, weight of portions from 10 to 30 kg.

Paper bags with open mouth, up to 4 layers with a polyethylene liner or polyethylene coating are used as a packaging material.

Size of bags: width – 480-550 mm, length of 600-950 mm (or other sizes on Customer request).

Method of closing: sealing of inner plastic layer and sewing with crepe paper band.

Weight accuracy: not more than 0.2% by weight of the product.

Requirements for product to be packed:

- moisture – not more than 5%;

- bulk density - 0.55 kg/dm3;

- grain size – 0.1 to 0.15 mm;


Basic operations:

The machine needs to be operated by two workers.

An empty bag is placed to the mouthpiece for filling and is fixed by a pair of jaws moved by pneumatic cylinders. As soon as an empty bag is fixed, a dosing and weighing process starts.

The product is supplied by a screw feeder from the hopper.

The dosing speed is changed in a wide range. A dosing process starts with the highest speed and ends with a low one – this guaranties achieving high accuracy and repeatability of the mass.A weighing and dosing process is controlled by an electronic weighing unit with a digital display. Into a filled bag a special vacuum unit with a filter is immersed, which evacuates air from the products.

Afterwards a filled bag is detached from the mouthpiece and falls on a belt conveyor, which transports bags from the mouthpiece to units, which close bags – seal internal PE layer. Before sealing, a sealing surface is thoroughly cleaned by a compressed air. Afterwards an upper part of a bag is cut by means of circular tool and then is transported to 1- thread sewing machine. Finally bags are closed by sewing them with additional crepe paper band.

Weighing & bag-filling machine is controlled by an electronic PLC. All the important information is shown on an industrial display. It is also equipped with a keypad, which allows to input data and to change parameters.

A weighing circuit is based on SCAIME load cells and GST weighing indicator. This guaranties high precision and ultra-fast measurement with scale interval 10g by max. load 30kg or 20g by max. load 50kg.
